About Me
Hello! I am a mechanical engineer and entrepreneur who recently completed both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
I am currently co-founder and COO of Nami Cleans, a company developing automated cleaning systems for reusable drinkware. Nami was born out of MIT's product engineering capstone course, 2.009, and has since grown from a classroom project into a startup focused on making reusable drinkware more convenient and accessible. During my time at MIT, I also conducted research in both the MIT Sports Lab and MIT HAUS group, working on projects spanning data analytics and machine learning, biomechanics, sustainable manufacturing, and large-scale additive manufacturing. These experiences helped shape my interests in product development, manufacturing, sustainability, and data-driven engineering.
Beyond academics and entrepreneurship, I spent four years as a member of the MIT varsity softball team, helping the team win both the conference championship and NCAA regional title in 2023. I was also involved in Pi Tau Sigma, the mechanical engineering honor society, where I served on the executive board, and Sigma Kappa, where I led philanthropic and service initiatives. Through these roles, I organized fundraising events, community service projects, and collaborative efforts supporting both local and national causes.
Originally from Boise, Idaho, I have always enjoyed spending time outdoors and exploring new places. Whether through engineering, athletics, entrepreneurship, or community involvement, I am motivated by opportunities to solve meaningful problems, work with great teams, and create a positive impact.
